Innocent holds an MBA (Strategic Management) from the United States International University-Africa and is currently taking courses towards becoming a certified accountant and as well as data analyst. He has completed the three-module performance audit course offered by the African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E).

Innocent is currently a Senior Principal Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of State Finances of Rwanda, where he has been working since August 2012. He has participated in over a dozen performance audit assignments in the health, education, infrastructure and ICT sectors.

My goals for the Fellowship

Through the Fellowship, I am eager to broaden my understanding and gain hands-on experience in conducting performance audits. I look forward to learning from seasoned professionals, contributing meaningfully to the public sector through impactful audit projects.

The impact I hope to make as a graduate Fellow

Ultimately, I hope to emerge from this Fellowship with a comprehensive skillset in various aspects of audit, including analysis, a network of connections and the confidence to excel in a dynamic and challenging auditing environment.
