Audit Office of Guyana

Robert has been a part of the Audit Office of Guyana for 14 years, and currently works as an Audit Supervisor. During that time, he has been involved primarily in financial and compliance audits.

Robert holds a Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Guyana, and he was involved in the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) program in the Audit of Government receipts in 2017.

My goals for the Fellowship

I look forward to enhancing my understanding of performance auditing and gaining practical experience in this area. My goal is to improve my ability to plan performance audits and the ability to present the results through effective report writing.

The impact I hope to make as a graduate Fellow

Upon completion of my Fellowship, I hope to be able to improve the use of public funds through meaningful audit projects. I also hope to be able to share the knowledge and skills gained with my colleagues, thus enhancing the quality of performance audits undertaken by our Office.
