Meet the 2021-2022 International Fellows

CAAF is delighted to welcome our 2021-2022 class of Fellows!
After the pandemic caused us to pause the Fellowships for a year, they are now restarting in a new format. The Fellowships have always been a central part of our international program, ever since CAAF’s founding in 1980. Traditionally, the participants have come to Canada for nine months to work at Canadian legislative audit offices, take part in CAAF courses, and develop their special projects that they will implement at their audit offices. This year, for the first time, the Fellowships are beginning with a virtual component, which the Fellows are completing from their countries. We then hope that the Fellows can travel to Canada to complete their placements later in 2022. The 2021-2022 Fellowships began November 1, with the virtual component getting off to an excellent start. In these first weeks of the program, the Fellows have been busy participating in sessions with CAAF, working on their special projects, and engaging with mentors at the Offices of the Auditors General of Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec. We would like to extend a warm welcome to the Fellows and wish them the best as they embark on their Fellowships. We also wish to thank the partners who will be working with the Fellows and whose support makes the Fellowships possible. Click below to read about the Fellows’.
Note: This page was updated January 31, 2022 to reflect that one Fellow has withdrawn from the program.
