How civil society organizations and audit offices can hold government accountable for the Sustainable Development Goals
When civil society organizations (CSOs) and legislative audit offices work together, they can better hold governments accountable for meeting their commitments to achieve the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our Collaborating for Change series provides CSOs with information, strategies and tools to effectively engage with audit offices. It can also be helpful for audit offices that are looking to collaborate with CSOs and other stakeholders. The series was produced in collaboration with Women Deliver and with the involvement of many other partners. It features case studies from several countries and draws on results from a survey CAAF conducted of over 40 audit offices from across Canada and around the world. For a quick look at the series’ key concepts, see our brochure.
