Welcoming a New Colleague and Announcing New Roles

In March 2020, we were pleased to welcome a new colleague to CAAF and to have three staff members take on new roles within our International Programs team:

Thera Pritchard

Thera Pritchard has joined the Foundation as our new Administrative Coordinator. In this role, she will work collaboratively with our corporate management team and those supporting our Board of Directors and will provide administrative support to the CAAF team as a whole. Thera brings over 16 years of customer service, administrative and financial experience, primarily in the non-profit sector.

Caroline Jorgensen

Caroline Jorgensen is now CAAF’s interim Vice-President for International Programs. Caroline has been with CAAF for over 15 years and has served as our Director of International Programs for most of that time. As Director, she has led the program’s budget management, activity planning and reporting and worked closely with program participants and partners. We are glad to have her leadership in this new role, following Terry Hunt’s recent retirement.

Barbara Dumont

Barbara Dumont is now our Program Officer, International Fellowships, responsible for coordinating the Fellows’ placements in Canada and working with CAAF partners across Canada and abroad to oversee the Fellows’ capacity development and well-being throughout their stay. Barb first joined CAAF, in 2008, in that same role. She then spent time as the Foundation’s Finance Officer and as the International Programs Administration and Logistics Officer before now returning her focus to the Fellowships.
