Announcing the Retirement of John Reed, President and CEO of CAAF

Evangeline Colman-Sadd, Chair of the Board of Directors of CAAF, would like to announce the retirement of John Reed, President and CEO of the Foundation, effective September 4, 2020. The Board would like to first of all take this opportunity to thank Mr. Reed for his leadership over the past years and wishes him the very best in his retirement.

Mr. Reed has worked closely with the Foundation's community over the past eight years, starting as its Vice-President responsible for performance audit and oversight in 2012. During this time, he has led the development of new innovative products, including our practice guides, discussion papers and other methodology tools and has led the resurgence of our performance audit and oversight training. He has overseen the rebranding of the former CCAF into the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation and the overhaul of its website. He has also worked extensively to support CAAF’s international programming and to secure its new International Governance, Accountability and Performance program with the Government of Canada.

The Board has enlisted the recruiting services of Lynda Naveda Consulting Ltd and the search for a new CEO has begun. The posting can be found here: The Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation Seeks a President & Chief Executive Officer
