How CAAF is Adapting to COVID-19
|
CAAF is now in its 7th week of working remotely due to COVID-19. Since March, we have taken various steps to ensure the health and safety of our staff, members and partners. On March 5, we suspended all international travel, sent our international Fellows to their home countries the week of March 16, and cancelled all in-person training and domestic travel. Throughout this pandemic, I am proud to see how well CAAF staff has been adapting to new ways of working as well as exploring innovative ways to provide value to you, our members. Click on the video to see what we’ve been up to. Our new webinars have been quite popular. Our first, Root Cause Analysis in Audits, attracted over 350 registrations in English and French. We have two more planned in May-June and will be scheduling additional webinars for the coming months. We are also working hard at converting our current in-person training to a virtual classroom format. Our first online offering (to be launched in June) will be our Root Cause Analysis course, which will build on what participants learned during our webinar on the topic. We are excited about the possibilities of online learning and look forward to implementing technology and training platforms to serve you better. Although CAAF staff has been putting a lot of effort on adapting and innovating, our ongoing development of performance audit and oversight publications continues. We will be publishing a variety of new publications this spring – keep an eye open for our email announcements. On behalf of the entire CAAF team, thank you for your continued support. We are working hard to find ways to provide you with the best possible value. John Reed |
