Announcement of CAAF's Next President and CEO

The Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation (CAAF) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Paul Forgues as the next President and CEO of the Foundation. “Mr. Forgues brings his track record of building effective relationships and partnerships that inspire trust and respect and enable strategic growth to the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation. We are certain that his leadership and business-focused approach will greatly benefit the Foundation, its members and the communities we serve,” said Evangeline Colman-Sadd, Chair of CAAF’s Board of Directors. Paul Forgues comes to the CAAF most recently from The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) where he held the position of Executive Director for Canadian Operations from 2019‑2022. At The IIA, Paul focused on achieving strategic goals on behalf of Canadian internal auditing professionals in the areas of training and certification, membership growth, and advocacy, outreach, and communications. As a results-oriented professional motivated by high standards, Paul has a proven track record in developing and implementing integrated strategic programs in marketing and communications, corporate branding, reputation management, and partner relations. Paul has more than 25 years of experience at the management level leading employees in sales, marketing, communications, public affairs, and governance training. “I am honoured to lead this incredible organization. CAAF has built credibility with several related and interrelated parties. I look forward to working with the Board, management, and employees to implement our strategic plan, leading this transformative journey,” says Mr. Forgues. Paul Forgues' appointment is effective April 3rd, 2023 following the retirement of Carol Bellringer. |
