Clinton Griffiths is an Associate Partner with Orbis Risk Consulting in Ottawa. He has nearly fifteen years of experience focused on supporting public sector organizations to manage risk within their ever-changing environments. His practice areas include performance audit/internal audit, technology risk, enterprise risk management and data analytics.

Clinton has held senior leadership roles within both the public and private sector. These roles include serving as Chief Audit Executive for the Ministry of Justice in Saskatchewan, as well as a risk advisory regional lead within a national business consulting firm. In addition, Clinton’s experience includes time with the Office of the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan where he was the lead for the office’s health sector performance audit portfolio. Over his career, he has led over 20 public sector performance audit engagements.

Clinton has Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina. He is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Canadian Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).

In addition to his broad range of experience, Clinton has been an active member within the Canadian audit community including currently serving as President with the Ottawa Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Chapter. He also has the pleasure of serving as the Co-Chair for the two most recent IIA National Conferences held in Calgary and Ottawa respectively.
